Hack the Vote

As part of their Hack the Vote initiative, Symantec wanted to educate and inform the public and election administrators about potential security vulnerabilities in voting machines. We developed the idea of buying real voting machines on eBay and challenging Symantec security guru to hack them. The campaign featured a deep-dive into the data he found on the machines, as well as short educational social content for voters, poll workers, and administrators.
